| Myself, Twinklydave and southerner Guy went away for a few days in the Lakes. Not seen Guy for over 2 years so it was good for us all to be out. Dave picked possibly the hardest routes known to man and the snow/ice just made it harder. First day was from Windermere over Highstreet and then back to Glenridding. Second day was Glenridding over Helvellyn to Windermere. Temperatures were around -5C with a windchill down to -15C, very cold... Will write more later. |
